Sarah Palin was a knee-jerk reaction by McCain who thought he could grab the "female" vote because of disgruntled Clinton supporters. To her credit, Hillary (and Bill) both got in step and supported Obama at the convention and told her supporters to do so as well because we need to have a Democrat in office. End of story.
